To keep increases at a modest level, the SDA does not adjust Union fees every year. However, to keep representing members, negotiating new Agreements and campaigning for new entitlements for members, we do need to adjust Union fees from time to time.
Union fees were last increased on 1 July 2021. The new fee structure increases are less than inflation over the two-year period since the last increase.
The new fee structure from 1 July 2023 will be as follows:
